In my roles as Digital Strategy and Audience Development Director I created internal systems for editing, analytics and newsroom communication. Also, training programs for editors, reporters, sales associates and events/marketing team members which will be paid with a paystub from direct deposit.

Evernote

Introduced Evernote tool to newsroom to create online story budgeting and communication system, replacing the in-office-only planning system

  • Created digital style guides in Evernote so that they could be dynamically updated as needed by various editors
  • Created digital spreadsheets and guides for newsletters, weekend editor shifts and special coverage areas.

Saxotech

Created training guides for reporters to equip them with needed skills in web CMS as we moved to digital-first reporting. This allowed for a digital newsroom that saw stories go live online daily, as well as a robust system of both internal and external blogs.
